Komatsu excavator fault code

In the daily operation of the excavator, due to wear and tear, poor working environment, untimely maintenance, improper operation, etc., various problems and failures will occur. The role of the excavator electrical system is to detect the failure of each system of the excavator, and It is displayed on the display of the excavator and reminds the operator which part of the excavator is malfunctioning.

At first, these malfunctions are minor problems. As long as they are discovered and dealt with in time, they will not have any impact on the excavator; but if these minor malfunctions are ignored, Continuing to use it will cause a major mechanical accident and may endanger the life of the operator. Therefore, if the driver knows the meaning of the fault represented by these fault codes and stops in time, the accident can be prevented.


The following is the meaning of Komatsu excavator fault codes:

   E01, automatic mode system in HYPER system.

   E02, PC-EPC system

   E03, rotary parking brake system

   E04+CALL, the joystick neutral system in the HYPER system

   E05, governor motor system

   E06+CALL, EPC solenoid valve drive system in HYPER system

   E09, HYPER-GX system closed.

   E101, the fault history record is abnormal.

   E102, clock data is abnormal.

   E103, the buzzer output is short-circuited, and the buzzer drive wire harness is in contact with the 24V power line.

   E104, the air filter is clogged.

   E108, the water temperature is above 105℃.

   E112, the wiper motor drive forward system short circuit (new model).

   E113, the wiper motor drive reverse system short circuit (new model).

   E114, the sprayer drive circuit is short-circuited (new).

   E202, LS selection solenoid valve circuit is short-circuited.

   E203, the rotary parking brake solenoid valve circuit is short-circuited.

   E204, the pump confluence/diversion solenoid valve circuit is short-circuited.

   E205, the secondary overflow solenoid valve circuit is short-circuited.

   E206, the walking speed conversion solenoid valve circuit is short-circuited.

   E207, the fast mode solenoid valve circuit is short-circuited.

   E208, the fast mode solenoid valve circuit is open.

   E213, the rotary parking brake solenoid valve circuit is open.

   E214, the pump confluence/splitter solenoid valve circuit is open.

   E215, the secondary overflow solenoid valve circuit is open.

   E216, walking speed conversion solenoid valve circuit is short-circuited.

   E207, the fast mode solenoid valve circuit is short-circuited.

   E208, the fast mode solenoid valve circuit is open.

   E213, the rotary parking brake solenoid valve circuit is open.

   E214, the pump confluence/splitter solenoid valve circuit is open.

   E215, the secondary overflow solenoid valve circuit is open.

   E216, the walking speed conversion solenoid valve circuit is open.

   E217, mode selection input failure.

   E218, the network responds to a timeout fault.

   E222, LS-EPC solenoid valve circuit is shorted.

   E223, LS-EPC solenoid valve circuit is open.

   E224, the front pump pressure sensor circuit is abnormal.

   E225, the rear pump pressure sensor circuit is abnormal.

   E226, the pressure sensor circuit power supply is abnormal.

   E227, the engine speed sensor is abnormal.

   E231, the activation mode (swing) solenoid valve circuit is short-circuited.

   E232, the front pump TVC solenoid valve circuit is short-circuited (old model).

   E233, the front pump TVC solenoid valve circuit is open (old model).

   E225, the rear pump pressure sensor circuit is abnormal.

   E226, the pressure sensor circuit power supply is abnormal.

   E227, the engine speed sensor is abnormal.

   E231, the activation mode (swing) solenoid valve circuit is short-circuited.

   E232, the front pump TVC solenoid valve circuit is short-circuited (old model).

   E233, the front pump TVC solenoid valve circuit is open (old model).

   E235, activation mode (swing) solenoid valve circuit is open.

   E236, the rear pump TVC solenoid valve circuit is short-circuited.

   E237, the rear pump TVC solenoid valve circuit is open.

   E302, the rotary stroke control solenoid valve circuit is short-circuited.

   E303, the rotary stroke control solenoid valve circuit is open.

   E306, the feedback potential circuit is abnormal.

   E308, the fuel dial input is abnormal.

   E313, automatic grease supply controller failure (optional).

   E315, the battery relay output circuit is short-circuited.

   E316, the governor motor is out of adjustment.

   E317, the governor motor circuit is open.
